Transport

The transport of purchased item can be arranged by:

• Buyer´s own means
  
  In these cases Steelhammer is allowed to charge the VAT amount on top of the purchase price as guarantee, until official proof of moving the item inside European Community or exporting goods, is delivered to Steelhammer.
   
• Steelhammer transport
  
  We have experience of machinery shipping and transport all over the world for over 20 years. Steelhammer is happy to make you a transport offer to your preferred destination, this can be done already before auction so buyer is able to calculate the total cost of the item. In the case of Steelhammer transport, no VAT guarantee payments are charged. Possible documents are charged up to transportation contract. Normally Steelhammer is not responsible of any documentation except sales invoice, unless transport contract is made.
   
• LOADING OF THE ITEM
  
  Loading facilities and possibilities of the item are mentioned in item´s specifications. Other arrangements as container etc have to be agreed separately with our transport people.
   
• TIME OF PICKUP
  
  Maximum pickup of every item after the auction is normally one calendar week after the payment. After this the seller of the item is allowed to charge for the storage, amount to be agreed per case. If the item is not picked up within 30 days from receiving the payment by Steelhammer and not any other, written, agreement is made between buyer, Steelhammer and seller, the seller is allowed to demand the purchase price from Steelhammer and also the owner right for the item, herewith the buyer loses his rights for the item and also for the done payment.
  
  Pickup dates and periods may also but not need to be written in item specifications.
